We are a fast-growing and professional moving company looking to hire a Removals Driver in the Plymouth area to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Removals Driver looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced and growing organization.
We require a Removals Driver skilled and knowledgeable in driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van locally within Plymouth and occasionally long-distance within the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely transportation of goods and personal belongings from one location to another. The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced in removals driving and is comfortable with long hours on the road if required.
– Safely and efficiently drive a 3.5 tonne Luton van, loading and unloading goods, and transporting them to the designated location.
– Responsible for the care and maintenance of the vehicle, ensuring its roadworthiness at all times.
– Ensuring that all delivery paperwork and documentation are correctly completed and that all the necessary paperwork is kept up to date at all times.
– Maintaining a high level of customer service and providing customers with regular updates regarding their items.
– Ensuring that you adhere to all legal and company policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will require a polite, professional attitude and willingness to work as a team. Exceptional customer service and good communication skills are essential as we work inside our client’s personal spaces (Customers’ homes and commercial businesses)
Our reputation is important to us, so you must always be smart, presentable, and free from alcohol or drug dependencies. We provide on-the-job training, so you must be keen to learn and not afraid to ask questions.
This position has a starting salary of £13 – 16 per hour on a contract basis plus bonus and tips, depending on experience. In addition, a permanent role would include an annual bonus, pension scheme, and holiday entitlement.
